DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Mission of Mercy is a large-scale\, two-day community dental clinic where dental professionals and general volunteers donate their time to provide free oral health care to individuals who face barriers to receiving dental care. A full-service field dental clinic with 100 dental operatories is set up and patients are treated on a first-come/ first-served basis. Since the first IMOM in 2008\, over 19\,600 patients from all areas of the state adn beyond have received free dental care\, totaling over $14.3 million!\n\n\n\nEveryone qualifies for care and the IMOM team provides a wide variety of services including cleanings\, fillings\, x-rays\, endodontic\, periodontic\, pediatric\, some oral surgeries\, and more. We encourage patients of all ages with all dental related issues to attend. \n\n\n\nThis event couldn't be offered without our generous sponsors or hardworking volunteers!
