Mobile Blood Drive

Perry High School iJAG is hosting a Mobile Blood Drive on Friday, November 14th, 9am-2pm at the Perry High School, with mobile donation center in front of the Perry Performing Arts Center.

All are welcome to participate.

• Bring some form of identification 
• Students must have signed parent consent form 

• Registration: donors will provide information
• History Screening: donors will complete a health and lifestyle questionnaire, then will get a mini-physical
• Donation: collecting a unit of blood takes about 5-10 minutes
• Recovery: donors will rest in the snack area and enjoy refreshments

• Drink plenty of fluids in advance; hydration is key to a positive experience
• Eat a good meal beforehand; do not donate on an empty stomach
• More salt: incorporate a bit more salt into your meals and snacks on the day of your donation
• Rest: get plenty of rest prior to your donation
