Explore literary classics from a variety of authors with our Quarterly Classics Book Club. Join the club in October as we discuss Aldous Huxley’s “masterpiece” work that explores issues of mass-entertainment, technology, medicine and pharmaceuticals, the arts of persuasion, and the hidden influence of elites. The Quarterly Classics Book Club will meet on Tuesday, October 8, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Carnegie Library Museum. Books may be purchased in advance for a small fee from the library or borrowed with your Perry Public Library card. For more information, go to www.perry.lib.ia.us, visit the library, or call 515-465-3569.
