Wave goodbye to to summer break from your canoe or kayak!
This route - Redfield to Pleasant Valley WMA - will cover about 8 miles of the rocky Middle / South Raccoon River, so it is not recommended for beginner paddlers. As we paddle, we’ll discuss the geological and cultural history of the areas we encounter.
Participants can bring their own boat(s), paddle(s), and life jacket(s). A group shuttle vehicle will be provided.
**There are a limited number of boats available for use from DCCB. Please contact Dallas County Conservation Board to learn more.**

From Hwy. 6, take 1st St. north to a four-way stop with Thomas St.
Turn left (west) on Thomas St. and go west to the river at Bridge Street.

Free and open to the public.
