WOW! Wednesdays STEAM Program (K-5^th Grades) Wednesdays – April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
This month, we will explore magnets and how they work, from a simple magnet magic trick to building our own electromagnets! Our WOW! Wednesday's STEAM program for elementary students in kindergarten through fifth grade explores Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! The group meets every Wednesday (January to April and September to November) from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, in the Community Room. We will also have our Maker Space cart available for tinkering at each WOW! Wednesday. This month’s schedule includes:

• April 1 - We will do a trick for April Fool's Day by making objects "fly" with magnets!
• April 8 - We will build our own electromagnets! These are magnets created using electricity!
• April 15 - ISU Extension will come to make straw rockets!
• April 22 - We will paint using magnets!
• April 29 - We will play games using the BEAM projector.
