Nominations Requested for Perry Chamber Board of Directors 2026-2028 Term
Perry Chamber of Commerce Annual Member Meeting & Director Election on November 18th
 
Perry, October 21, 2025 – The Perry Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Member Meeting and Director Election on Tuesday, November 18th at 12pm via Zoom. All Chamber Members are invited to attend to get an overview of the past year and to elect Board Members for the upcoming three-year term (2026-2028).
 
Three current Chamber Board Members have terms ending December 31^st, 2025. They may be nominated to serve another term and nominations for new board members are requested from Chamber Members by Monday, October 27th. Those nominated will be contacted and invited to submit a Board Member Application in order to accept the nomination by Friday, October 31st.
 
“It has been an honor to serve on the Chamber Board,” states Kelly Mills of Percival Scientific and current President of the Perry Chamber of Commerce. “It is truly amazing to see our businesses and community come together in support of each other, with the Chamber helping facilitate collaboration through events and programming.”

The role of the Board of Directors is to oversee the strategic direction of the Perry Chamber of Commerce and to act as the Governing Body of the organization. The only prerequisite for individuals to serve on the Board is being a current representative of a Chamber Member Business or Organization in good standing.
 
Responsibilities of Perry Chamber Board Members:

• Ability to make decisions on behalf of the Membership as a whole, and uphold fiduciary duty to the Organization
• Commit to attending monthly board meetings, and additional meetings as needed
• Participate at a committee level to advance Organization's strategic goals
• Attend Chamber activities, as schedule allows (Ribbon Cuttings, Events, etc.)
• Pledge to serve a three-year term.
