Wait Staff

Job Summary:
Wait Staff are responsible for monitoring and observing guests dining experience. Main duties consist of informing guests of menu options and suggesting food and beverage items. Additionally, the Wait Staff will take guests orders, utilize the point-of-sale system, serve food and beverage promptly, prepare the final bill, and accept payment. At Hotel Pattee we want to ensure all guests are satisfied with their dining experience and have had the best customer service provided during their dining experience.

Qualifications:
-Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide a positive experience for all customers
-Effective time management skills with the ability to work flexible days and hours
-High attention to detail and ability to be adaptable dependent upon the situation
-Proficient computer skills are required
-Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

(Note: In accordance with 185-4.25 Iowa Administrative Code, Staff must be 18 years of age or older to sell and dispense liquor, wine, or beer for on-premises consumption.)
