Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor monitors housekeeping staff and performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house, alongside the housekeeping team. Responsibilities include ensuring housekeeping departmental standards are followed and responding timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cots, extra towels, shampoo, etc. Along with reporting necessary maintenance items, following departmental policies and procedures, and following all safety and sanitation policies. Additional supervisory tasks include but are not limited to partnering with purchasing staff to order supplies, scheduling housekeeping team around business needs, and maintaining the high cleanliness standards for Hotel Pattee.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a housekeeping supervisory role is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide a positive experience for all customers
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work flexible days and hours
- High attention to detail and ability to be adaptable dependent upon the situation
- Proficient computer skills are required
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
