Environmental Services Coordinator - Full-time (varied hours; every 4th weekend)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead Environmental Services
1. Responsible for scheduling of all environmental services staff to ensure coverage at all times
2. Leads the performance improvement initiatives for environmental services
3. Will provide input into performance reviews of staff
4. Contact person for linens and any issues with linens
5. Ensures time/linen studies are completed
6. Works with director on policy review and education of staff.
In addition to the functions described above, this role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned on occasion, based upon Dallas County Hospital needs or requirements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Education/Experience:
High school graduate or GED, required. Ability to use job specific equipment, chemicals, bio-hazard waste removal, previous floor care experience preferred.
• Technical Skills:
Written and oral communication skills.
• Other qualifications/certificate/license:
Previous on-the-job training experience, required.
• PC Competencies:
A working knowledge of the Windows environment is desirable.
